These Galway lads have written an extremely passionate rap about Irish Water

“The time has come to stand and fight/and not put up with the same old sh*te…”

THOUGH PROTESTS AGAINST water charges have been getting increasingly creative, the musical contributions to the pile have been fairly small.

Phil Coulter had a whack with the satirical Cool Clear Water and now this bunch of lads from the West, recording under the name of Kitchen Sessions, have released a rather rousing Irish Water rap. Yes, a rap.

Listen out for the genius rhyming of ‘cryptosporidium’ with ‘get rid of them’ near the two minute mark.

Could this become the Irish Water anthem the country has been craving?
