The whole internet was duped into thinking this was Jennifer Aniston's wedding dress
AS WE ALL know at this stage, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot earlier this month - and everyone was delighted for them.
Last night, this image was being widely shared on Facebook as Jen’s actual wedding dress:

The only problem was, the image was shared from the Jennifer Aniston Community Facebook page – which is clearly run as a fan site to the actress, and not from any official page.
That didn’t stop many websites excitedly reporting this as Jen’s dress
The image as it stands has over 300,000 likes and 25,000 shares. But, as has been revealed by countless sources, it’s definitely not Jen’s dress.
As Buzzfeed discovered, the dress – and the exact shot of it – is up on the website of Israeli designer Dimitrius Dalia:

The fact that the photo received so many likes and shares must have convinced many that this was the real deal.
A quick glance at the other posts on the fan page shows that the things they put up are in the first person – which would lead some to believe it’s actually Jen:

But no blue tick means it’s not her (and the fact that it’s a fan site was also a giveaway).
We can all stand down. For now.
