Look at this illustrator's pitch perfect tribute to Dermot Morgan and Frank Kelly

Graham Linehan said it made him “well up”, so you know it’s good.

THE FUNERAL OF Father Ted actor Frank Kelly (better known as Father Jack) took place today, with his son Emmet saying he’ll be “the first person in history to tell St Peter to feck off”.

No doubt then he’d have been tickled by this drawing by Facebook illustrator Jim’ll Paint It.

Jim takes outlandish requests from his followers, then makes them come alive on Microsoft Paint. Here’s the request he got from Father Ted fan James Sheppard after Kelly’s death on Sunday:

Hi Jim. I would love to see Father Ted’s peaceful 18 years in heaven being disturbed by the arrival of Father Jack being chased by glasses-stealing crows.

And here’s the resulting drawing:

Please note the brick on the leash.

The illustration has been shared over 15,000 times in the two hours since it was posted on Facebook, and got the seal of approval from Ted creator Graham Linehan.

We imagine it’s pretty true to what’s happening up there. RIP, Frank and Dermot.
