Joan Rivers once contributed a 'recipe' to a Irish charity cookbook
THE LATE COMEDIAN Joan Rivers was well known for her zingers, but did you know she was a dab hand in the kitchen too?
Er…sort of.
Reddit Ireland user niall558 found a recipe from Joan Rivers in a charity cookbook for St Luke’s Hospital in Dublin – the post doesn’t specify what year this was, but from the picture we’re guessing some time in the 90s.
She has mentioned in the past that she wasn’t fond of housework (“You make the beds, you do the dishes and six months later you have to start all over again”) and her recipe for Joan Rivers’ Toast suitably reflects her feelings on the matter.
