Historian caught on camera giving epic eye-roll at Richard III's burial
YESTERDAY, KING RICHARD III was “reburied” at Leicester Cathedral.
The service, which was televised on Channel 4 last night, was quite the occasion with several lower-tier members of the Royal Family in attendance. Benedict Cumberbatch, a distant cousin of the king, even read out a poem.
Whoops!

Ah yeah, standard.
Perhaps the highlight of the service, however, was when the camera caught to medieval historian John Ashdown-Hill delivering the most comically exaggerated eye-roll ever.
Mate, you’re at a king’s reburial! Keep it together!
There has been much speculation as to what the reason behind the eye-roll was with some suggesting that it was because he wasn’t name-checked in a eulogy.
Whatever the reason, it’s pretty glorious.
Beautiful.
