Is this Ireland's oldest barman?
JOHN O’SULLIVAN BOUGHT a bar in Douglas, Cork back in 1945. It wasn’t until April of the next year that he opened it, but he’s been pulling pints there ever since.
John’s son Donal has since taken over O’Sullivan’s Bar, but he still works behind the bar and didn’t even get today, his own birthday, off.
Tough boss!

His son Donal told DailyEdge.ie that John turns 90 today and is “fighting fit”. We’re agreed that he’s gotta be the oldest barman in Ireland but are open to challenges.
Donal hasn’t really tried to verify if his dad really is the oldest, but surely this deserves some sort of award?!
So surely the 90th celebrations are almighty? Nope, he’s got some superstitions.

What a legend, we bet his pints are pristine.
