NEARLY 60,000 JUNIOR Cert students received their exam results this morning.

It was a roller-coaster of emotion, with many students taking to Twitter to brag or bemoan their grades, while others tried to ease the pain a bit with some worldly advice.

We all remember being in that one school that waited until everyone else in Ireland had got their results before allowing you to open yours after lunch.

C’mon Pobalscoil Neasain, give them out already!

Some needed time to themselves

Others were optimistic

But most failed to see the point

At least it's not the end of the world...

... for most people

Many were full of mature advice
