IRISH ACTRESS KERRY Condon has revealed that she has been cast in the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul.

The Tipperary woman, who has previously acted in The Walking Dead, Intermission and US fantasy drama Believe, told U Magazine that the details of her role are “top secret” at the moment:

It’s probably the most top secret thing I’ve done. When I arrived on the job I didn’t even know the character’s name. I’d no idea what my storyline was.
I think when something has a cult following, the fans can be so interested, so I think that’s probably why they’re so top secret about it.

So far, all that’s know about Better Call Saul is that it will focus on slimy lawyer Saul Goodman, six years before he meets Walter White. It will air in the US in February, before being released over here on Netflix.

Bob Odenkirk will return as Saul and Jonathan Banks will reprise his role as the lawyer’s weirdly lovable right-hand-man, Mike Erhmantraut.

To wet your whistle, here’s Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan introducing Saul’s Irish alias, Jimmy McGill:
