THE BILLBOARD MUSIC awards took place last night, and the music world was out in force.
Most eyes were on Kesha and the big winners, but here’s a few of the stand-out moments…
1. The red carpet faux pas came from Ariana Grande
She fell but recovered like an absolute pro.
2. Britney Spears made the comeback of her life
With the most epic of all mash-up performances.
3. Stevie Wonder and Madonna performed a tribute to Prince

The Weeknd also led tributes, using his speech to honour the late legend.
4. Celine Dion sang The Show Must Go On
It’s been a tough year for Celine, but this tear-inducing performance after she won the Icon Award, presented to her by her son, Rene-Charles Angelil.
5. We got a first glance of Adele’s Send My Love To Your New Lover music video
That DRESS.
6. Kesha’s tribute to Bob Dylan made everyone cry
The singer got a standing ovation for her performance of It Ain’t Me Babe. Dr Luke, who she’s embroiled in a legal battle with, tried to stop her performing. The show went ahead though, and it was excellent.

She was also rocking suits like it was no one’s business.
7. Justin Bieber, Pink, Rihanna, and Ariana Grande also lit up the stage
Perhaps it was Pink’s excellent staging, consisting of her floating into the arena on a giant clock, dressed like a crow, that stole the show.
