SINGER KESHA HAS said she was offered a deal that would ‘free’ her from her contract with producer Dr Luke – but only if she publicly apologised for accusing him of raping her.
In February, a judge refused to end her contract with the producer, who Kesha claims drugged and sexually abused her for years.

Dr Luke claims that Kesha has made up the allegations as a means of getting out of her contract and moving on to “more lucrative ones”.
A host of celebrities have come out in support of the singer, including Adele, Lady Gaga, and Kelly Clarkson, the latter of which previously worked with Dr Luke.

Last night, Kesha posted an update on her case to Instagram, claiming she was offered her ‘freedom’ if she publicly recanted the allegations:
Rolling Stone reports that the deal Kesha is referring to came up between the two legal teams “a couple of months ago”, although the details of the offer are unclear.
A spokesperson for Dr Luke again said that Kesha is “free to record” without the producer, and accused her of making up the allegations for “personal enrichment”:
“We look forward to our day in court holding Kesha accountable for her lies.”
