Irish primary school students asked to identify President Higgins, hilarity ensues
PRIMARY SCHOOL KIDS may know the names and birth-dates of all five members of One Direction, no problem. But what about the Queen, or our very own President Michael D. Higgins?
The School Around The Corner returns to RTÉ this Sunday, and sees primary students from all over the country put to the test.
Can they recognise the Queen?
Kinda. In summary, she’s the principal of London, who looks out and makes sure England is OK.
Surely President Michael D will ring a few bells?
Guesses range from God and Obama, to the Pope ‘in charge of the world’. It’s true, they saw it on telly.
Adorable.
