KILLIAN SCOTT, AKA Tommy from Love/Hate, appeared on the Late Late Show to talk about his new movie Calvary, which he stars in with Brendan Gleeson.
Yeah, that’s great and all, but the real question on everyone’s lips was how he felt about that fizzy orange hysteria.
Mortified, that’s how. Just look at his reaction to the clip.
Scar-let. He was sure to let everyone know that, while he enjoys the odd bottle of ord-inge, he does spread his fizzy drink love around other flavours and brands.
Yeah, yeah, whatever you say Killian…
The actor said that he really doesn’t mind the fact that it became ‘a thing’.
It’s gonna follow me around. It’s totally cool, when I read it first I thought that moment was quite tragic and terrible, and it’s fine that people find it funny because much like in Calvary, there’s a lot of tragedy and a lot of comedy. But I was genuinely quite struck by the fact that people ran with that and it sort of became a thing.
#neverforget
But attention quickly shifted from orange escapades when people started noticing his ACCENT. Where’s the flat Dublin Tommy tones we all know and love?
He’s actually a bit posh, and even admitted that he read for Nidge but played him too proper.
Oh God, the confusion.
