KIM KARDASHIAN-WEST is no stranger to controversy, that’s for sure.
When she’s not feuding with Taylor Swift, facing accusations of defending a racist YouTube star or being criticised for posting semi-nude photos to her social media, the gal just can’t catch a break.
Her latest career move has once again set tongues wagging, as she channels Jackie O on the cover of Interview Magazine.
The mag headline reads “America’s New First Lady: Kim Kardashian West & her daughter North West.”
Kim, wearing a two piece suit, and elbow length white gloves, as well as donning Jackie Kennedy’s signature hair style.
North, making what can only be assumed to be her modelling debut, sits next to her wearing a navy dress with a white lace collar.
The profile of the reality star reads:
If anyone can be said to embody the American Dream, it’s Kim Kardashian West. It’s almost hard to remember a time before she and her sprawling mega-family—mother Kris Jenner and ex-stepfather, Olympic champion Caitlyn (née Bruce) Jenner, sisters Kourtney and Khloé, half-sisters Kendall and Kylie, brother Rob, and various friends, husbands, boyfriends, and exes—invented a new kind of tabloid fame, one based on access rather than aspiration.”
In the interview, Kim comments on a multitude of subjects – most notably, on the subject of her being famous for no reason.
You can say a lot of things about me, but you cannot say I don’t work hard. I don’t sing. I don’t dance. I don’t act. But I am not lazy.
In fairness, her cosmetic line KKW Beauty did make $14 million during its launch alone. #NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent.
It’s safe to say Kim K fans are shook.
Others are wondering if this means Kimmie’s going to sort Trump out.
And the rest are having none of the Jackie O comparisons.
Look, surely we can all agree that North is the star of this shoot?
