Irish people from all walks of life are showing solidarity with #RepealThe8th on Twitter

LAST SATURDAY, thousands of people turned out for the fifth annual March For Choice in Dublin, marching through horrible weather to Government Buildings on Merrion Square.
But who were all these people? Were they just the ‘usual suspects’ who support the campaign?
Not according to the #KnowYourRepealers hashtag, started by Tipperary woman Emma Burns in response to a tweet calling the marchers ”liberal students from Dublin universities and Trotskyites”.
Burns explained who she was and why she supported the campaign, and encouraged others to do so to show the breadth of support for the Repeal movement in Ireland.
It became the top Irish trend on Twitter last night as more and more people took part – there were tweets from young fathers, mothers, students, and 64-year-old grandmothers alike:
