U2 sent Kodaline a load of Guinness and champagne with the most Irish note ever
WHAT ELSE WOULD you be doing if you were global rock superstars?
That’s right, you’d courier over some champagne and Guinness to other Irish bands – like U2 sent to Kodaline yesterday:
“Tried to get to your gig but apparently we have to practice more. Up the irish” read the note, signed off with the four U2 lads’ names.
The hamper included cans of Guinness along with bottles of champagne – with an intriguing recipe. Apparently U2′s ‘Black Velvet’ requires the simultaneous pouring of stout and the champagne into a large glass.
We can just imagine Bono mixing that fine cocktail right now.
