The lads aren’t happy with the similarity, taking to Twitter to complain about the ‘rip off’.

A rep for the cereal company said that they’re “aware of Kodaline’s comments on Twitter” and are “looking into the facts”, and that they commissioned an original song for the ad from Hush Music.

Besides the similarity to the Irish band, a commenter on Facebook also noticed that it could also be a cover of the Kinks, but was SHOT DOWN on by Kellogg’s themselves.

The song is an original and has been created specially for Origins ad. We will providing more details very soon.
