THE PERILS OF live TV were wonderfully summed up during a brief moment on last night’s Late Late show.
As Tubs was in the middle of letting us know what was coming up later in the show, he spotted an audience member shuffling out of her seat and into the aisle:
“Do you need to go to the loo? You do? Go on!”
The crowd roared – live TV was not stopping her
“If you gotta go”
A fine moment in the history of live Irish telly:
This is the reason we watch live TV
Some thought she might have had other motives
But let’s face it, this woman is all of us
Kudos to the nation’s new hero. Rebel.
