The Slow Set made a cringe-worthy comeback on The Late Late Show
WITH FIGHT NIGHT well and truly behind them, the gang at the Late Late had a tough act to follow.
How on earth were they supposed to get through an evening without Linda Martin and Billy McGuinness?
Well, with a good old fashioned dose of audience participation of course. And what better to get them up doing than a nostalgic old slow set? To Chris de Burgh’s Lady in Red, no less.
Under the watchful eye of Hector Ó Heochagáin, and his great big expert’s stick.
Is it now?
Those hoping for another major bust up weren’t totally disappointed though.
Sure didn’t they have file footage of Hugh O’Connor from The Stag giving a priest – the famous Father Michael Cleary – a right dig in the stomach?
In the words of one tweeter:
Here’s why ‘Jerry Springer’ was trending during the Late Late Show>
Twitter was lost without Graham Norton last night>
