FOR THE TENS of thousands of Junior and Leaving Cert students preparing to sit the first of the 2014 state exams this morning the weather is the last thing on their minds.
For the rest of us, it’s all a big pile of nostalgia, latent fear and , of course, the sun:
Mr Geoff Scargill writes what we’re all thinking in today’s Irish Times. Sorry students.
Even though today has started wet and miserable in the east of the country, we are expecting sunny spells everywhere by this afternoon, and no doubt there’s a heatwave just around the corner. Just in time for Irish Paper 1.
Good luck everyone, and always remember…
