This letter to the Telegraph on paternity leave is rather excellent

Oh, what could have been.

ON MONDAY, BRITAIN’S Labour Party pledged to double the length of paid paternity leave if it prevails in this year’s general election on May 7th.

Under Ed Milliband’s plans, fathers would be afforded a month of paid leave.

That news led Jane Jacklin to pen this rather excellent letter to the Telegraph on what could have been had paid paternity leave existed sixteen years ago when she had her second child…

If the prospect of having glorious sheds doesn’t tempt voters, we don’t know what will.
