The Star Wars premiere took place in Leicester Square last night and the nearby Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square was lit up like a giant lightsaber.
Star of the new installment, John Boyega, told fans on the red carpet that the cast had one more surprise for them, as they watched the column light up.
