Spot the difference? Stunning footage of 1920s London vs modern day
FANCY A BLAST from the past? Well, you’re in luck.
Back in the 1920s a cinematographer by the name of Claude Friese-Greene took a little tour around the UK with his new colour film camera and ended up in London on the final leg of his trip.
The British Film Institute restored the footage last year and when it came to the attention of one Simon Smith he decided to set off on a rather special mission. Smith took his own camera out and about in modern day London and attempted to capture every single one of the shots.
Simon then edited the whole thing together and popped the video up on Vimeo in order to show the world just how little the city has changed.
