TODAY, NETFLIX UNVEILED the new shows and movies that will accompany us through the Christmas season – and they’ve pulled some decent selections out of the bag.
1. On December 14, Love Actually lands on your menu
The most divisive Christmas film of them all. Just ignore all the creepy plotlines and you’ll be grand.
2. On the same day, the Back to the Future trilogy becomes available
Not festive in the strictest sense, but all the BTTFs are pure nostalgia comfort watches. Marty!
3. Other Christmas films available include Miracle on 34th Street
4. Jingle All the Way
5. Deck the Halls
6. Arthur Christmas
7. Last Holiday
8. Non-festive movie marathon options include Maid In Manhattan on December 13

9. Tom Hanks’ Bridge of Spies is available from December 20
10. And on Christmas Eve, Mad Max: Fury Road pops up
11. The Foreigner – where Pierce Brosnan plays a Gerry Adams-type figure – premieres on December 15
Some nice Christmassy viewing.
12. The Netflix original film El Camino Christmas is available from the 8th
It stars Luke Grimes as a man who ends up locked in an off licence during Christmas Eve.
The dream.
13. On the same day, the new series of The Crown drops
14. And there’s a new original comedy special from Russell Howard out on the 19th
Not a bad selection, all told
Nearly time to bunker in.
