IRELAND GOT A new political party today – but it doesn’t have a name yet.

Launched by former Fine Gael TD Lucinda Creighton and economic pundit Eddie Hobbs, the party is being organised under the hashtag #RebootIreland.

But Twitter is organising itself to suggest an actual moniker, under the rival #NameTheCreightonParty hashtag.

This appears to be the frontrunner so far.

(Spoiler: it appears to have been this man.)

But there have been a number of other suggestions.

Some even less flattering than others.

Some delightfully alliterative

Some with historical pedigrees.

And others more straightforward.

Some are… almost hopeful.

Meanwhile, there have also been suggestions as to how the ‘Reboot Ireland’ tag was coined.
