One hotel, the five-star Castlemartyr Resort, posted this generous offer on Facebook this morning and have been receiving an influx of good wishes and support.
The goodwill has been liked almost 5,000 times, with many commending the hotel for the gesture to families forced out of their homes.

Cathal tells us that other hotels in the area such as the Garryvoe hotel have also teamed up with them to help keep up with the demand and take in locals.
