Madonna accused of using Charlie Hebdo tragedy to promote her new album

Oh dear.

AFTER LANDING HERSELF in hot water for altering images of Martin Luther King, Jesus Christ and Princess Diana to promote her forthcoming album, Madonna has only gone and done it again.

Following this week’s attacks on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, Madonna shared the following message on Instagram.

The accompanying caption reads:

These are very scary times we are living in. Ignorance breeds Intolerance and fear. We can only fight darkness with light! We are all Charlie!#revolutionoflove #rebelhearts

That’s all well and good, but fans have expressed their unease with the inclusion of the hashtag #rebelhearts and have accused her of exploiting the tragedy to promote her new album.

Madonna has yet to apologise or acknowledge the controversy, but did post this photo of Elvis Presley.

Right so.
