FOLLOWING THE BIRTH of Princess Charlotte last weekend and all the fuss surrounding her name, Google has released data on the most-searched baby names in the United States.
Google released a map showing the most searched for names by state for both boys and girls. The most searched for girls’ name was Elizabeth while the most popular boys’ name was Michael.
Most importantly, however, it appears that Americans love the name Maeve.
Or at least people in New Hampshire do.
According to Google, it was the most searched for name in that state between 2014 and 2015.
Dayum.
Last year, Maeve was named as the 19th hottest name for baby girls by naming website Nameberry. Data from Social Security shows that it was the 484th most popular name in the United States in 2013.
Maeves, it’s your world and we’re just living in it.
