Man had to be freed by firefighters after getting finger stuck in plane toilet
A PASSENGER had to be freed by firefighters after getting his middle finger stuck in the toilet bin on board an intercontinental flight.
The 32-year-old man, from the US, suffered the accident early this morning on board a Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong, police said.
He became stuck more than an hour before landing – and had to wait out the rest of the flight before he could be freed.
This meant he had to stand alone in the toilet during the landing after flying for over 14 hours, the South China Morning Post reported.
Police said the man, who apparently became stuck while throwing away some rubbish, was able to free his hand with the help of firefighters and did not need hospital treatment.
The airline refused to comment.
