THERE ARE MANY ways to celebrate a marriage, but this just might be the most extravagant one we have ever seen.
Two employees of Air Malta got married this week, and the tribute that the airline paid them was to take them up into the sky and draw out the following over the island of Malta itself:
It was picked up by Flight Radar, who track planes in the sky globally. They dubbed it the #LoveFlight
Speaking to Sky News, the husband and wife are a pilot and cabin crew member with the national airline – and were on board at the time along with the whole wedding party of friends, family and colleagues.
At first people were confused as to why one plane was circling around the island like that, but the departure board at Malta International answered all questions
Although some criticised it as a waste of time/fuel, most people thought it was absolutely lovely
Sounds like one hell of an afters do.
