A GLASGOW WOMAN accidentally became a tourist destination while using TripAdvisor.
Mary Johnston, 60, is now listed as the city’s 87th most popular attraction. That’s more popular than the music venue where Beyoncé recently performed, and also beats the Regimental Museum of the Royal Highland Fusiliers.
She is also “ready for reviews”, the website says, although nobody has left one yet.
If Mary Johnson is unavailable, visitors are invited to consider one of these other similar possibilities:
“If you own or manage Mary Johnston, register now for free tools!”
The Scotsman have talked to Mary who said the listing is either a bug or a practical joke. She told the paper:
I’m already a user and I went on recently to review somewhere in Amsterdam so it may have happened then. I’m not a huge traveller, but I do like city breaks and have visited places such as Prague, Krakow, Lisbon and places like that.
