Looks like McDonald's Japan is getting some serious notions about itself...
AS EVERYONE KNOWS, avocado on toast is the breakfast of choice for hipsters.
Partly because it’s healthy and partly because it’s so damned photogenic.
Look.

But it looks like the delicacy has officially gone mainstream as McDonald’s Japan has added it to its menu.
Introducing the “avocado muffin”.

The “avocado muffin” has avocados, ham and lettuce topped with a spicy Cobb salad sauce.
In other words, it’s fast food for people with serious notions.
The avocado muffin is currently only available in Japan, although people have begun petitioning McDonald’s to introduce it worldwide…
This is not the first time that McDonald’s has gotten all notions-y on us: a few weeks ago, it was reported that one Australian branch was serving “wilted spinach” and “crushed avocado” as part of its breakfast menu.
Avocados, wilted spinach and still no all-day breakfast.
Disgraceful.
