Meghan Trainor's 'sexist' new song has really got people's backs up

It seems like everyone is hating on Dear Future Husband.

MEGHAN TRAINOR RELEASED her latest single earlier this week – called Dear Future Husband – and it’s getting absolutely slammed by people claiming that it’s sexist.

The song and video show Trainor at home and telling her future husband what’s up, including lyrics like:

‘Cause if you’ll treat me right/I’ll be the perfect wife/Buying groceries/Buy-buying what you need.

The song’s lyrics and music video have come under serious criticism from people (already not too happy with some of the content from her All About That Bass song)

This detailed and comprehensive breakdown of Trainor’s lyrics has also gone viral

People have been planning a Robin Thicke-esque boycott

But most are just concentrating on her latest release

A lot of people are just straight up disappointed

And some are starting to spot a theme in her work
