Arya Stark attempts an Irish accent in new film, and it's not half bad

A modern-day Cú Chulainn.

ARYA STARK DOES a decent Irish accent. We thought it couldn’t be done, but it has.

You can have a first listen of an Irish Maisie Williams in the new trailer for her upcoming Irish movie Gold.

Williams stars as a teenage girl who reconnects with her father after 12 years, and probably doesn’t own any hounds.

Out of their lives for 12 years, Ray is on a mission to re-connect with his ex-girlfriend, and teenage daughter who live with his former controlling and regimented P.E. teacher. Unfortunately his efforts to bridge the gap with his daughter seem to lead to chaos turning any good intentions he may have into comic catastrophe.

The movie is directed by IFTA winner Niall Heery and includes a hayp of well-know Irish actors.

We will accept this.
