President Higgins' historic State Visit, re-imagined in Lego
PRESIDENT MICHAEL D Higgins is currently doing a damn fine job of representing the country across the water in the UK – most notably, getting on with the Queen like a house on fire.
What better way to immortalise the State Visit than with Lego?
Photographer Debbie Hickey of Studio Ten Media (who also made the Lego version of Team Panti) has created scenes from the State Visit, entirely in Lego.
Lego President Higgins is just as cute as real life President Higgins.

On her website Hickey expressed her disappointment that President Higgins wouldn’t get to Legoland in Windsor, but sure he’s halfway there.
