These 5 Cork bars led the way in Michelin’s 'Eating Out in Pubs Guide'
EVERY YEAR, THE Michelin Guide releases a book of the best pubs in the UK and Ireland to get some grub.
A total of 32 Irish pubs have made the cut this year. But there’s one county in the Republic that’s leading the way with five inclusions – and that’s Cork.
Good going for the rebel county:
Poacher’s Inn, Bandon
Like many of the Cork selections, it was the seafood that most impressed the judges as well as a very Irish surprise:
Deasy’s in Clonakilty

IrelandGuide raves about the setting of Deasy’s:
And the Michelin assessment took note of the gorgeous setting too:
Cronin’s in Crosshaven
The judges praised Cronins’ “interesting artefacts and boxing memorabilia” as well as the unfussy seafood dishes that feature local produce.
Toddies at The Bulman in Kinsale
Simple pub classics and ambitious blackboard specials were the combination that won out for The Bulman.
^look at that drool-worthy fish and chips as well.
And finally… Mary Ann’s Castletownshend
