Minions are taking over the internet and your life, and people are not amused

How did we get here?

MINIONS ARE TAKING over the internet.

It’s true. So many people out there are confused by where they came from, why they are here and how they came to be everywhere on the internet.

Well, it all starts with the fact that the movie comes out this week

The spin-off to the Despicable Me is in Irish cinemas this weekend – and stars Sandra Bullock and John Hamm as these ridiculously cute little characters:

The Official Minions Facebook page has over 30 million likes - but the movie is just the beginning of why people are talking about them so much.

The page’s posts regularly get over 10,000 shares per meme – putting them into many people’s timeline.

Which has got people CAPITAL LETTER angry

But the enthusiasm and buzz about Minions is ever growing

And they’ve even been spotted larking around Dublin

The movie might be out in Ireland this week – but it’s not out in the US until July 10. So, those cute little Minions will be around the internet for some time to come.

Enjoy.
