Missing sailor found inside shark
THE BODY OF A MAN WHO WENT missing during a fishing trip in the Bahamas last month has been discovered in the stomach of a shark, the Telegraph reports.
Judson Newton, 43, and a friend jumped into the sea when the boat their group was sailing on had engine trouble. Their friends said the pair were attempting to swim ashore.
Parts of the hugely popular 1987 sequel to Jaws were filmed at a beach nearby.
Rescuers found three men aboard the boat, but no sign of the two who had entered the water.
The Telegraph reports that police have used fingerprinting to identify Newton, after a right leg, two arms and a severed torso were found inside a 12-foot-long tiger shark caught by a fisherman in the Bahamas.
The fisherman said that when he caught the shark, a left leg popped out of its mouth.
