MRS BROWN BOYS won Best Comedy Show at the National Television Awards in Britain last night.
Jennifer Gibney and Brendan O’Carroll picked up the award at the O2 Arena in London.
It comes after the TV show was listed as the second most viewed programme in the UK on Christmas Day- beaten only by the Queen.
Mrs Brown Boys D’Movie was also listed as the highest-grossing release of the year in Ireland last year – netting over €3.8million.

The awards also saw I’m a Celebrity…Get me Out of Here! named as top entertainment programme and Ant and Dec won the best entertainment presenter trophy.
Coronation Street actress, Anne Kirkbride, got a special mention at the awards after she died from cancer on Monday.
Her co-star William Roache, who plays Ken, paid a touching tribute to the actress.
He said: “I feel so blessed, honoured and privileged to have had those years working with Anne.
What we’ll remember the most is the vibrant, warm-hearted, loving person who came to work each day, gave us all a hug and brightened up our lives.
He added: “I love you, Anne. Thank you.”
