THE NOMINATIONS FOR this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards have been revealed today.

All the usual suspects are there: Justin Timberlake, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

The ceremony will take place in Amsterdam on 10 November and the nominations were announced by, er, Ron Burgundy.

Much more interesting though is a walk down memory lane, to a time when music royalty came to Dublin, when B*witched were cool and Bryan McFadden was cosying up to Britney Spears.
