YOU MIGHT KNOW about the munchy box trend that has made its way around the Chinese takeaways of Ireland in recent months – look at it there above.
Well, a Scottish cafe has gone and made a breakfast version of it – and it’s become massively popular across the water
Café Number 10 in the Scottish town of Ayr posted their creation to Facebook a couple of weeks ago – and it’s taken off
The ‘All Day Breakfast Munchie Box’ – interestingly, they choose to spell it ‘munchie’ – contains:
2x bacon
2x link sausage
2x sliced sausage
2x black pudding
2x toasted bagels
2x potato scones
2x slices of French toast
Mushrooms
Scrambled egg
2x haggis
2x tea’s or Coffee/ can of soft drink
Well now.
It costs around €12.50 for the two person version or €24 for the one designed for four.
Since Café Number 10′s creation went viral, other restaurants have started making their own versions
They’ve been popping up everywhere.
They got so popular that the place had to close down temporarily one day:
Good afternoon everyone, due to extreme demand on our All Day Breakfast Munchie Boxes, we have ran out of stock!!!
Don’t worry, we’re in the process of restocking, and they’ll be back on sale momentarily!
Will it come to Ireland? Who knows. They’d want to substitute out that haggis if so – maybe put in a white pudding to go with the black ones.
