This guy took a selfie with Nick Cave and had to ask the internet who he was

JAMES MALCOLM IS a young comedian from New Zealand. In his bio, he rather excellently describes himself as a “wannabe gay icon” and “the Taylor Swift of New Zealand Comedy”.
Last night, Malcolm was in an airport when he noticed someone getting a lot of attention from the other passengers.
Unsure as to who it was, Malcolm decided to ask his followers on Twitter.
Not wanting to miss out on the fun, he decided to join the masses and get a selfie himself… all while not having a notion who he was.
Now of course, the man in the photo is the legendary Nick Cave.
As people went to great pains to point out.
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
And of course he was trolled.

For what it’s worth, Malcolm is adamant he was being sincere in not recognising Nick Cave.
