There were absolute scenes in off licences around Ireland tonight
HOLY THURSDAY MIGHT be famous elsewhere for many things, but in Ireland it’s best known for the last minute rush to the off licence.
Thanks to our Good Friday licensing laws, of course, the 10pm deadline on Thursday night is our last chance to prepare for tomorrow’s parties.
And there were long last minute queues around Ireland tonight
