ARE YOU IN work right now?
Take a look around, and chances are you have a secret crush on someone in the room.
A survey of 663 employers in Ireland has found that 66 per cent of workers admit to giving one of their office mates the secret glad eye.
Not only that, but a whopping 42 per cent say there has been some degree of gob lobbing or lámh dropping with a fellow employee, and 62 per cent of those admit to feeling ashamed about it.
We need a couple of minutes to digest that information (and peer around TheJournal.ie HQ wondering who fancies who) so here are some of our favourite stock images of office romances…
She’s raging cos she fancied him first. That Fidelma one is some hussy.

Peninsula Ireland, which carried out the research, points out the hazards of workplace romances, from personal information being exchanged via company email to creating a disruptive atmosphere for others.
Alan Price from Peninsula says:
Some people may find their life long partner at work, so we shouldn’t discourage individuals, but we should remind them that there is a time and a place, and work is best kept separate. Some employees may receive Valentine’s cards from secret admirers and while some people may find it funny, it can create an awkward tension.
