DID YOU HEAR that One Direction tickets for the band’s stadium tour went on sale this morning?
Of course you did. It was the only thing anyone everywhere was talking about between 9am and noon. Frazzled mothers and beyond-excited teens scrambled online – and at physical record stores (the kids still know what and where they are when they need to) – to get their hands on the coveted items.
After the first gig in Croke Park on 24 May sold out within minutes, a (shock!) second date was added for 25 May, sparking much excitement from Niall Horan himself.
All tickets were snapped up within two hours.
This was the scene in Portlaoise earlier. Lots of bored-looking younger brothers dragged along for the ride. (Image: @thenextgear/Twitter).
Let's take a look at what was happening online though.
