1. Obtaining a free CD was the only way to ‘download’ the internet
2. Having to get everyone off the phone so you could fire up that headache of a connection was a task harder than it was worth
3. That’s if you hadn’t broken this little thing with all the swapping, which of course was made from the weakest plastic in the known universe
