The city is your oyster.

Does singing along to The Cranberries/The Corrs/B*Witched with a room full of strangers sound like fun to you? If so, then you’re going to want to head to the Paddy’s Day installment of Sing Along Social.

2. Paddy’s Day Disco Brunch, Drury Buildings

Entry is €5 and solid tunes are guaranteed.

3. Sing Street, various cinemas

Because what better way is there to celebrate your Irishness than by taking in some Irish cinema? Sing Street has everything you could want from a film — humour, warmth, infectious tunes and Aidan Gillen dancing.

We defy you not to be humming Riddle of the Model when the film ends.

4. Sim Simma Paddy’s Day All Day Jamboree, Wigwam

A free all-day party taking place in Wigwam where you can play a spot of ping-pong, participate in something called ‘reggae yoga,’ and generally just take a break from the madness of the city.

5. A spot of GAA, Croke Park

Fancy getting out of the city altogether? Croke Park will host the AIB GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Club Championship and AIB GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Club Championship this Thursday.

The action kicks off at 2pm and it promises to be a cracker.

Early bird tickets have sold out, but there are still some tickets on sale for €20.
