So next Monday's Moone Boy has a flashy guest star...
THE THIRD SEASON of Moone Boy has featured a host of Irish talent, including Sharon Horgan and Terry Wogan, to mention a few. Terry Wogan, people.
Sky1 Sky1
But the final episode of the season, due to air next Monday, packs some serious Hollywood star power in the form of one Paul Rudd.
The news of Rudd’s cameo was quietly included in the announcement of the third season last June, but there’s been no sign of him so far.
That is, until the show’s creator and star, Boyle man Chris O’Dowd, tweeted this earlier today:
Of course, today being April Fools’ Day, nobody knew what to believe. Then Chris offered up the definitive proof:
CUTE. The plot summary from Sky offers very little information on Rudd’s role:
We can only speculate – but could that be our Paulo? Could he have sneaked in the cameo when he was in Ireland on a stag with Peter Dinklage last year? The sly dog.
Moone Boy is on Sky 1 on Monday at 9pm.
This girl’s April Fools’ joke backfired in the worst way possible>
