AS FAR AS we’re concerned, you can’t beat Penneys for most things.

We’ve been devotees all our lives, and we don’t intend turning our backs anytime soon.

However, some (high-definition) eyebrows were definitely raised when word landed back in 2014 that the high-street retailer had decided to branch into beauty.

From primer to palettes, PS carries a range of products which – put simply – come in at the same price as a takeaway coffee.

And Huda Kattan, also known as Huda Beauty, has sat up and taken notice.

In fact, the make-up blogger, who boasts a staggering 24 million followers, is only weak for the range if a recent post is anything to go by.

In a post published by the make-up maven’s team in recent days, they say: “Primark Beauty might just be the best thing we discovered this year.”

PS has pretty much everything, from foundation and contour sticks to liquid eyeliner, glitter palettes, lip liners, nail varnish and tons more. You could probably fill an entire makeup bag for less than £30.”

Putting a variety of products to the test, the team were pretty impressed by the variety, staying power and general bang for your buck.

Overall we’ll say that the Primark collection is pretty much what you can expect, not amazing quality and the packaging of some eyeshadow palettes is very basic, but for the price, we love that this gives you the chance to play, especially if you’re not massively into makeup or just want to try out new trends.”

With a hugely successful cosmetic range to her name, this praise won’t have gone unnoticed.
