The cover has caused all sorts of jibes from the tech media, claiming that the cover does little to make VR look enticing, but instead is its greatest threat, making its founder look goofy instead of a tech giant.
Reddit got their hands on it.
The Daily Dot asked people to improve it, or just make it worse. Y’know, whatever works.

Luckey himself has said he’s not that bothered about his cover becoming such a parody. The 22-year-old told Gamespot:
People have said, ‘Oh, this is going to set virtual reality back so far.’ I’m like, are you guys really giving that much importance to an old-media cover?
I love the cover, I think it’s great.
Was the problem that some people wanted this vision of virtual reality on the cover? Probably.
