Can these 'pet condoms' prevent your animals from getting pregnant?

Well, no. The San Francisco SPCA launched the campaign to remind people to spay or neuter their pets.

SO WE’RE FILING this under ‘things we’re delighted don’t actually exist’.

The San Francisco SPCA have taken an unusual approach to attract the attention of pet-owners by running a dud campaign promoting the use of animal condoms to prevent pregnancy in their pets.

The real purpose of the campaign is to remind people to be responsible and get their pets neutered.

Some of the more disturbing aspects of the faux advertisement include sections on how to put on a pet condom and spot the signs that your adorable little mutt may be a sex addict.

No thanks.

Luckily, selecting any of these options just brings up a reminder that there’s only one fix for your pet.

And for that, we are grateful.
